The Nanjing Vehicle Maintenance and Rescue Net has been official open to public recently. Car owners can dial the hot line “96196” if their cars are out of work in the main city, maintenance staffs will hurry to the spot in 30 minutes.

The opening of the net will provide “emergency” service for car owners.

58 enterprises have been through tests and they together with the Nanjing traffic service hot line “96196” and Jiangsu traffic service hot line “96520” form the Vehicle Maintenance and Rescue Net. These enterprises are all with maintenance quality reputation above A level and improved equipments and they have opend the 24-hour rescue service. The net covers the following districts: Xuanwu, Baixia, Qinhuai, Jianye, Gulou, Xiaguan, Qixia, and Jiangning, as well as 20km around the main roads of Jiangnan. The net will cover Jiang Bei area next March.

Staffs of the net will find the nearest maintenance and rescue company according to actual situations. (Nanjing Daily)
