On the Jiang Bei New City Infrastructures Promotion Conference which was recently held, the Bank of Communications, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, China Citic Bank and Shenzhen Development Bank jointly announced that each would make a 1.5 billion Yuan credit extension load on construction of Jiang Bei New City so as to support the Pukou District to go on increasing inputs. It means that the construction of Jiang Bei New City will be promoted next year under the condition of rich capitals.

On the signing ceremony, some executive of the Pukou District government said that the loan would be mainly used on infrastructures construction, such as roads and traffic. With the principle of “New City Construction, Infrastructures As Priority” and the strategy of building a base within 3 years, next year is a start year for Jiang Bei modern New City to construct its infrastructures. Predictably, the total investment will be 4 billion Yuan next year on 80 key infrastructures.

It is said that the Pukou District will make use of the loan to promote a group of people’s livelihood projects at the same time.

According to the plan of the New City, Pukou will focus on constructing ten functional areas: high-tech development zone, Ding Mountain Central Business Area, Taiwan high-tech industrial park, No.3 Bridge of Yangtze River Park, Qi Ba Modern Logistics park, Wu Jiang Ship Manufacture Base, marsh park, phase two of Pearl Spring park, Tang Spring Oriental hot spring city and Zhen Street Industrial park.

“With the all-direction development of the construction frame of the New City, the industrial construction of Jiang Bei will be promoted as well”, said some executive of the Pukou District. Recently, the district is trying to promote the China 15 Africa-country procurement center to take hold in Pukou. This center is for procurement and logistics of 15 Africa countries in China. The coverage of it is 1km2. After its completion, it will become a top international trade town of Jiangsu. The negotiation has entered the final dash stage currently. (Nanjing Daily)
