The “Green Nanjing” construction conference was held in Nanjing recently. Continuing to increase 100,000 acre forests, increasing 1% of the forest coverage, striking to become the national first group of “Ecological Park City”.

Nanjing has been awarded the title of “National Greening Model City” by the National Greening Commission this year. Nanjing will continue to increase 100,000 acre forests next year and the forest coverage will reach 25%, up by 1%; the green lands cover in the main city will reach 41.6% with greening coverage of 46.5% and public green cover per capita of 136 m2. Nanjing is striking to become the national first group of “Ecological Park City” and carries out six projects such as “Ecological Anti-Soil Belt Construction”. (Nanjing Daily)
