Bloemfontein is located in the middle of the Republic of South Africa with an area of 446 square kilometers and a population of 460,000. It is the judiciary capital of the state as well as the capital or Orange Free State. It is an important transportation hub in the country, leading in agriculture, animal husbandry and mining. Bloemfontein is referred as "City of Roses".
