The Catalog of Goods Prohibited from Import (No. 3) which has been formulated according to the Regulation of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of the Import and Export of Goods, Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Preventing the Pollution of the Environment by Solid Wastes and the Decision of the State Council on Some Issues about Environmental Protection (GuoFa [1996] No.31) is hereby promulgated for implementation as of January 1, 2002.
