Labor and Social Security
 

1.  Employment: employees recruited by enterprises must be above 16 years old; and employees for operation involving toxic or harmful substance or extraordinary heavy physical labor must be above 18 years old.

2.  Labor contract: the enterprise shall sign written labor contracts with workers for establishing employment relations. Any dispute between the enterprise and employees arising out of implementation of labor contract or relevant labor management regulations can be solved through consultation, mediation or arbitration.

3.  Wages: the actual wages for enterprise employees must not be lower than the minimum wage line published by the government.
The current minimum wage line: 460 yuan/month for urban area (including Jiangning District), 370 yuan/month in Lishui County and 320 yuan/month in Gaocun County and areas of former Luhe and Jiangpu County.
The current minimum hourly wage line: 3.9 yuan/h for urban area (including Jiangning District), 3.1 yuan/h in Lishui County and 2.7 yuan/h in Gaocun County and areas of former Luhe and Jiangpu County.

4.  Social security: it includes insurances for pension, unemployment, medical treatment, labor injury and childbirth.

5.  Labor protection: average working time shall not exceed 40 hours per week, and at least one holiday should be offered per week
